We strongly advise that you provide an address for delivery where you or someone on your behalf will be available to sign for your parcel as all deliveries take place during business hours and require a signature upon receipt.

All our orders are sent with Royal Mail or courier; both services require a contact number and signature. You will receive an email upon dispatch of your order letting you know it is on its way. If there is no answer at the address when your parcel arrives, you will be left a calling card with instructions on how to collect your order or rearrange delivery.

 

UK Shipping Rates & Delivery Times

Please keep in mind that we cannot guarantee delivery times, as they are only guidelines. Hence, we are unable to refund delivery costs in the event that the delivery date does not meet the provided estimates. Unfortunately, deliveries cannot be made on a Sunday or on a Bank Holiday.

 

UK Next Day Delivery

To take advantage of our next day delivery service with DPD (for mainland UK deliveries) and Royal Mail, you will need to place your order before 12pm GMT/BST Monday to Thursday. We offer a Saturday next day delivery service at a cost of £11.95 - if you place your order before 12pm GMT/BST on Friday. If your order is placed after our cut-off time, then your order will be delivered on Tuesday.

All our Standard and Express delivery service requires a signature due to high value items. 

If you included your mobile phone number and email address on your order - you will receive an email containing your tracking number and an estimated date/time within a 1-hour delivery window (DPD) once your order has been processed. If you (or anyone else able to sign for your parcel) are not at the delivery address when your parcel arrives, you will be left a card with instructions on how to collect your order or rearrange delivery.

DPD prides themselves to have the best technology delivery system available in the UK. This is why we use them so our customers are always kept up to date with the status of their delivery. 

If you don’t receive any communication via DPD - You can also visit www.dpd.co.uk and manually enter your consignment number for tracking information.

On a rare occasion you may have difficulties tracking your order. In that case we strongly recommend you contact DPD directly on 0121275 0500 with consignment number in hand or simply email them [email protected] your consignment number as the subject.

No matter where you are in the world, we will deliver to you! Delivery costs start from free. Express deliveries vary from 2-3 working days depending on the destination' we use FedEx and DHL for Express deliveries so if you’re in an easy to access area your shipment should be delivered a lot faster than remote hard to reach areas (remote).

*Delivery costs may vary if the weight of goods exceeds 2kg.

All orders will require a telephone number and email address as we use courier services that will require a signature upon delivery. You will receive an email on dispatch of your order, letting you know it's on its way. If you are not at the delivery address to receive your parcel when it arrives, you will be left a card with instructions on how to collect your order. We also advise that you provide an address for delivery where you or someone on your behalf will be available to sign for your parcel as deliveries take place during business hours and require a signature upon receipt.

Any customs or import duties are charged once the parcel reaches its destination country. The recipient of the order must pay these charges. Unfortunately, we have no control over these charges and cannot estimate what the cost will be as customs policies and import duties vary greatly between countries. We suggest that you contact your local customs office for current charges before you order to avoid any unexpected charges.

Returns

Have you received something you want to return? No worries! 

Please note: our entire products are hand embellished and so many hours have been put to complete each item. Each and every garment isn’t 100% symmetrical and may vary between each other slightly. Due to the nature of hand embellished item(s) some beads may come loose or fall off if not handled carefully. Therefore, all hand embellished items come with spare beads attached. Loss of beads cannot be treated as faulty after wearing the dress and cannot be accepted for refund/ replacement. We are happy to send you some more beads if you need. Please just message us for more beads required. Please do not break the seal and remove the tags if you are not sure. By removing all the tags and using the item, you are accepting Gatsbylady’s terms and conditions.

You can return any item (In the interest of hygiene, hosiery and pierced jewellery cannot be returned) you’re not completely happy with for a refund, within 14 days of receiving them.

All goods will be inspected on return and must meet the following criteria:

  •    All original tags must be attached
  •    All items must be returned in the same condition & packaging as they were received
  •    All items have not been worn
  •    All items are free of any odours
  •    All items must be in saleable condition

Notice: We do not have any retail outlets where you can return your order in person. Re-directory service is set up for our returns fulfilment centre so please do not come in person to our office as this would delay your returns process and cause confusion.

Unfortunately, we cannot refund the cost of postage (this includes the original delivery cost and return postage). If you wish to request reimbursement for postage due to an incorrectly advertised, damaged or faulty item just get in touch with us and we will reimburse your postage costs. Please be aware that the maximum amount we can refund you is the standard Royal Mail recorded delivery cost. We also cannot refund the excess cost of parcels returned to us via courier or next day delivery.

We recommend that you use recorded mail and keep the receipt of postage, as we are not responsible for any orders that are lost by mail service providers when you are returning them to us. Please ensure your goods are packed securely and cannot get damaged on the way.

Once we receive your returns parcel we will then process your refund to the card from which the original payment was made and at the price you purchased your item/s at (this includes sales items). You can check your email for the progress of your  return.

We have a local address for all our Canadian customers just like the USA - we do not want them to spend $$$ on international postal charges when returning back to the United Kingdom. Please kindly return back to the following address using a local track & signed economy service instead. Please note: it is your responsibility to retain the proof of postage and to ensure the parcel is insured in case it gets missing in the post when returning back to us.

USA, Europe & International
 
We are in process of having a local address in Europe. In the meantime, all customers have to email us [email protected] for return instructions. Please ensure you use the package you originally received in your order with all the tags and labels intact. Failure to do so would result in damage upon transit and missing returns. 
 
IMPORTANT!! PLEASE READ CAREFULLY!

IT’S YOUR DUTY TO DECLARE THE ITEM AS “RETURNING BACK TO SENDER WITH NO COMMERCIAL VALUE & NO COMMERCIAL INVOICE” IF REQUIRED ONLY - PLEASE USE PRO-FORMA INVOICE - SO THERE ARE NO CUSTOMS & DUTY CHARGES. PLEASE DO NOT RETURN BACK USING FEDEX AS THERE IS A $30 FIXED CUSTOMS CHARGES APPLIED BY FEDEX/ DHL, WHICH IS OUT OF OUR CONTROL.
